Get going with first-time growing • One of the consequences of the Covid-19 crisis is that it has created a lot of interest in people growing their own vegetables - seed companies and online gardening suppliers have been inundated. This month Tony Flanagan offers the following start-up guide for first-time growers
TOP SIX EASY TO GROW VEG • Everyone will have different opinions on their top six but I've gone for what I consider the easiest and without the need for a greenhouse or polytunnel especially. Also, they are ones that offer value for money in terms of the amount they yield. So, in no particular order:
HERB OF THE MONTH... Coriander • This unique-tasting herb is in the same family as parsley and they do look very similar. It is relatively easy to grow and the leaves and seeds are used in cooking.
